“But, you don’t know anything about that!!”

It’s fair to say that my husband was a bit bemused the first time I talked about ghostwriting a book. How could I write a book about baby sleep when our own baby had never slept a night in his life?

A sleeping newborn, snuggled in a brown blanket.

That’s not the point. If anything, it’s an advantage since I have the same questions and concerns that readers might have.

You see, this is not my book.

I don’t have to be an expert in the content. I don’t have to know anything about it at all. This is your book, and you are the expert. I am just a conduit really. I take your knowledge, your ideas, your message and even your anecdotes. I distil them down, organise them and give them structure. Then I bring them to life, crafting sentences, paragraphs and chapters.

I use the skills of a writer to create a book that’s readable, engaging and pitched for your target audience. A book that will let you help more people, and attract new clients for your high end services.

I don’t know everything there is to know about your topic, and even if I did I wouldn’t be using my own ideas. It’s your book after all, the content has to come from you. I bring the magic of a writer, and together we make the perfect pair.

The knowledge, the unique approach and the skill to turn that into a book.

If you would like to get started on your book just get in touch, when you sign up I’ll donate £200 from your first payment to charity as a thank you. This month (April 2022) is World Autism Month and my chosen project is working to produce resources for Autistic Refugees and their families.

I cannot imagine what it’s like to try to evacuate with an autistic child. When “normal” life is overwhelming, how do you cope with that sort of change? Anything we can do to make even a tiny difference has to be worth it.
